Muscle Injury 

For me, this time, I tore my rotators cuff.

A very close friend of mine, just told me that she did Acupuncture for her ripped rotators cuff with great results.
She thinks she only had 4 or 5 sessions, and was very pleased with her results. I am going to look into that and give acupuncture a try.
 
This is what I have learned over the years:

LAUGH - Laughter reduces inflammation and pain.   Read something funny or watch funny movies.
 
WATER - ALWAYS a main staple when your body is out of sorts, drink PLENTY of it.
 
ICE - big deal, ice every two hours if you can.  for 20 minutes or until spot gets numb.
 
PRAYERS - it is scientifically PROVEN if others pray for you, you WILL heal better and faster.  Ask for Prayers!
 
ALFALFA - is for inflammation  I use only Shaklee brand, in my research they have the absolute highest quality of alfalfa.
 
PAIN RELIEF - I use Shaklee's Pain Relief supplement, as it is excellent and natural.
 
BREATHE - remember to breathe deeply as it oxygenates your muscles/cells.
 
FLOWERS - NATURE - be sure to have fresh flowers in your home, they have been proven to boost healing.  Also, look at nature as much as possible, this also boosts healing.
 
ARNICA GEL - for bruises, sore muscles, stiffness -  put on four or more times a day, this product heals you about 3 times or MORE FASTER. Also I take homeopathic Arnica Montana 30x as directed on bottle.  This heals the muscle from the inside out.
 
B COMPLEX and PROTEIN - Shaklee's, again it is absolutely the best on the market.
 
CALCIUM - make sure you know that it is being absorbed into your body.  Again Shaklee's is guaranteed and the best.
 
REST - do not over excerpt your self, rest so that you can heal.
 
PHYSICAL THERAPHY  - just  DO IT !!
 
NUTRITION - FOOD - it DOES make a difference what you put into your mouth.  Stay away from sugar and artificial anything and everything.
 
VISUALIZATION - take a few minutes, about 3 or more times a day and visualize yourself as healed, performing normal activity.
 
EPSON SALT BATHS - are very, very good for you for many ailments.  They take away the negative ions in your body and help you to feel so much better!  They even work, if you are in a bad mood, the bath will improve your mood!!
